Scope of Service & Role Boundary
This service provides language translation services and does not provide the following:
- Legal interpretation of laws, regulations, or international standards
- Assessment or guarantee of regulatory compliance
- Professional advisory services such as legal, tax, or accounting advice
Final determinations regarding regulatory compliance should be made by your legal/regulatory team or qualified professional advisors.
1. Service Overview
Peoplying ("Company") provides professional translation, localization, and language services. These Terms govern all services provided by the Company.
2. Use of Services
By using our services, you confirm that:
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- You will use the services only for lawful purposes
- You will respect intellectual property rights and confidentiality obligations
3. Confidentiality
The Company treats all client materials as confidential and protects them as follows:
- Your content is never used for AI training
- Data is deleted after project completion within agreed timeframes
- Content is never shared with third parties
- All processing occurs in encrypted environments
- NDA agreements are available for enterprise clients
4. Quality Assurance
The Company strives to deliver high-quality translations through professional translators and multi-tier review processes. Quality-related concerns may be addressed through complimentary revisions within a specified period after delivery.
5. Limitation of Liability
While the Company endeavors to provide the best translation services, it is not liable for:
- Inaccuracies in translation resulting from errors or incompleteness in source materials
- Fitness of translations for specific purposes (regulatory approval, legal validity, etc.)
- Indirect or consequential damages arising from the client's use of translated materials
6. Intellectual Property
All rights to source materials remain with the client. Rights to translations transfer to the client upon full payment. Tools developed by the Company, such as glossaries and translation memories, remain Company assets.
7. Payment Terms
Payment terms are determined by individual project agreements and generally include:
- Small projects: Prepayment or payment upon delivery
- Large projects: Deposit with milestone/final payments
- Enterprise contracts: Monthly billing
8. Changes to Terms
The Company may modify these Terms as necessary. Significant changes will be communicated through in-service notifications or email in advance.
